The Great North Swim is a fantastic weekend of open water swimming in the stunning Lake District surroundings. The event offers a family friendly atmosphere, spectacular swimming action and an unbeatable sense of achievement as you step out of the water and cross the finish line.

Join Team Rainbow Trust for the one mile event!

There are one mile waves over all three days of the event from 10 to 12 June 2022. When you register, you can choose which day and timeslot you wish to swim!

Did you know?

One mile is the equivalent to 64 lengths of a 25m pool.
One mile is a suitable length for all swimming abilities!
Average completion time of a one mile swim is only 40 minutes.
